In Search of the Kingdom, They Have Ignored the King. This has been Kathie Adler's motto for over twenty five years. There are over 90 million people involved in the cults and the occult who are searching for the truth. Two thousand years ago Jesus Christ warned that false Christs and false prophets would arise. They claim to be Christian, but are they? Entrance into their kingdoms will lead you further away from Jesus Christ and further into despair and darkness. The pathway to cultic deception is paved with heartache, despair, and sometimes death. Families have been robbed of loved ones as followers embrace a false god and a false hope. Those in the cults have been robbed of a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is replaced it with something else instead: obedience to their their cult leader, the attention they've been longing for, and perhaps a figure in their life that gives them validation. All these things cannot satisfy the soul that was meant for only God.
Cult leaders are insecure deceivers trying to find their own way and their own lost identity. They are trying to find themselves in the domination of others and are as lost as their followers. We need to show them the true way, is Jesus Christ. "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but through Me." (John 14:6).
Waco reminds us. Jonestown still haunts us. Only Christ is the true King. We must lead people into the kingdom of God and away from counterfeit kingdoms. Jesus said: "Then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the Christ' or 'There He is', do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told you before." (Matthew 24:24, 25.) |
